Estimating a project’s cost and schedule presents uncertainties not typically faced by more routine endeavors. And with project cost, schedule, and performance objectives usually established by hasty, incomplete examination of these uncertainties, the risks already faced by projects of any complexity are compounded.

The Project Management Institute (PMI) has organized the profession’s principles and processes into a Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide.

This webinar will highlight multiple PMBOK knowledge area activities for which modeling risk and uncertainty is possible, present examples of several of these models, and suggest how the insights to be gained by such models can assist those managing projects with considerations such as risk mitigation.
